Gnosis is not to remove the ego or world but to know its source and destination. Mind hacks to remove the ego are a waste time. Your ego is a part of the universal mind which is actually the universe. To remove the ego means to remove the universe. The universe removes itself lol without any effort. You dont have to live a religious life , you can live in the city and look for the source and destination of the mind. It makes little difference what you do as everything you do is the dance of the demiurge (not god). You are not limited to this sphere of reality.

So for all the new joiners, these gnosis 101 posts explain the mechanics of gnostic non dualism. This group and pages specialise in this type of non dualism. We are at post 12 at the minute and I explain the posts as best I can. This post number 12 says we need the ego. Sure all the other paths say the ego is bad, so why does the post say this the opposite. OK here is the reason. This is called soul centric reasoning based on the formless path (or Monad view). All the yoga and religious paths teach a dualistic view of god and person The dualistic path is more for engaging people and its easier to understand. The problem is the dualistic path is ego centric which although we need the ego it is actually based on the demiurge and not the Monad. What this means is it doesn’t lead anywhere as the demiurge is like the wheel of samsara or an endless maze. We need the ego to be able to discern the Monad as there is only the Monad and demiurge. Yoga and religions aim to remove the blockages but it never succeeds because it is founded on a view of the demiurge. Does this make sense ?
